Lycans Players Test Free Agency

As Season 18 of the SFL winds down, many teams are experiencing critical personnel movement within their organizations. The Los Angeles Lycans are not immune to such things. Four Lycans will be testing Free Agency this upcoming offseason: HB Robert Johnson, WRs Davius Reid and Terrance Weary, and K Rob Emms. "All four gentlemen have contributed in one aspect or another to this organization and they will truly be missed," Co-Owner Rachelle Colston said. "We understand that Free Agency is the nature of the beast. We'll just have to restore and rebuild."

Johnson and Davius were holdovers from the Chicago era and they didn't miss a beat with the Lycans. Season 18 was excellent for both players. Reid had 92 receptions for 1101 yards and 6 touchdowns. His best game came in Week 10 against the Fort Worth Toros. He had 6 receptions for 122 yards and a touchdown. The "Bowling Ball" had 248 carries for 1179 yards and 12 touchdowns. His best game came in Week 6 against the Jacksonville Kings where he tallied up 23 carries for 170 yards and 2 touchdowns. "Both Robert and Davius were key-contributors for our offense," LA QB Sully Richardson said. "They kept us in a lot of games and I wish them nothing but the best with their new teams."

Rookie Terrance Weary did show flashes of greatness and scored the his first touchdown (and first points of the season) for the Lycans. "We focused on spreading the wealth offensively," said OC Ryan Yoseph about Weary. "Terrance displayed a lot of patience and I think he will be clutch for any team in the SFL."

Kicker Rob Emms is a legend in Los Angeles and will surely be clutch with whatever team picks him up. Since kicking for the Lycans, he's made 63 of his 64 field goal attempts! "Emms is legendary in Los Angeles," Co-Owner Rachelle Colston spoke. "He will truly be missed."

With Free Agency and the SFL Draft quickly approaching, which direction will the Los Angeles Lycans take? Stay tuned for more LA News and Notes!
