Excitement is steadily building for the Los Angeles Lycans organization. Today, Co-Owners Tom Ramen and Rachelle Colston introduced Sully Richardson as the Defensive Coordinator going into Season 16. Ramen and Colston provided a joint statement: "We are excited to welcome Sully Richardson in the the Lycans family. His experience at Defensive Coordinator will be a benefit to the entire team."
Sully is truly humbled and excited for the new opportunity. "It is truly an honor and a privilege to be a part of this organization! In my three seasons in Carolina, I learned so much about myself. I was taught the ins-and-outs of the league; and, I owe it all to the good people of Carolina. Owners James Cline and Harish Prasad are top-notch people! I know that Carolina will continue to blow the doors off of the SFL!"
Richardson coached a fierce defense in Carolina. Season 14 saw CB Zane Doty grab 13 interceptions (single-season record by a cornerback), LB Forrest Stark lead the league in TFLs (21 combined TFLs and Pass Deflections), and former Skyhawk/current Lycan FS Rachelle Colston secure the secondary. Richardson hopes to bring that similar passion to Los Angeles.
"I've been involved in football for awhile. I've played football. I have family who've played in the NFL. Football is in my blood. It's all about strategy and execution. It's no different in the world of Simulated Sports. The Lycans defense will not be overlooked. I'll try everything in power to get our guys in the right positions to win."
Stay tuned as your Lycans will be rolling out more news in the coming months!
Congratulations Sully to the new position, and congratulations to the team on their winning bid and newest acquisition
